July 4th 2023 Firework Restrictions

Here are the fireworks restrictions within the Garden City Fire District boundaries for the 2023 July 4th holiday.

The fire district boundaries are from the Idaho line south to the rest area on State Highway 30 and from Cache County to the middle of Bear Lake.

There is only one location that the lighting of fireworks will be permitted and legal within the fire district. There will be no exceptions. The city has allowed the big dirt field north of the heritage park to be used. We encourage everyone to come there with their fireworks. Even if you don’t have any fireworks, it is worth coming and watching everyone else light theirs. We will have a fire truck and medical personnel on site.

Remember, any shooting of fireworks outside of the designated area set aside by garden city will result in confiscation of fireworks and possible steep fines. Also remember that single shot (reloadable) mortars are illegal in Utah and will be confiscated and violators will be fined as well.

Have a fun and safe Independence Day!
